Declarative access to DataItem using data binding syntax

blog.turlov.com — Shows how to retrieve and instance of a DataItem object declaratively in a context of standard data binding syntax. This is a useful technique when you need to access a root DataItem object instead of any of its properties or when the object does not have properties.
