Although the ModalPopulExtender isn’t new at all there are still countless poeple who search the web for a comprehensive sample on how a ModalPopupExtender is used in a GridView. It can be pretty tricky to handle so I decided to come up with a good example of most things that you need tot know about it. Hence this blog post is a sample on how you can use the ModalPopupExtender in a GridView coupled with an UpdatePanel. Working with the ModalPopup from a GridView can be a pain, but with a good reference nice results can be yielded.

Been trying to get this working for days. Been all over the internet looking for help. This post was the only one that I found that worked as "advertised". Good work Arnold.
