Maybe I'm cheap, but $750 seems steep for that.

I think the cost is acceptable for per server pricing as $750 doesn't go far to buy bandwidth routing from higher quality providers or buying more hardware, however as a poster on JNK's blog said they most likely should offer an individual site license or single domain license to reach a broader market.
