Serious bug in String.IsNullOrEmpty in the .NET 2.0 CLR (www.sorn.net)

A bug has been discovered in Microsoft's .NET 2.0 runtime which can cause an unexpected null reference exception at runtime. This article sums up what's affected and what isn't, and links to a bug report on Microsoft's website stating that it will only be fixed in the beta release of the next CLR. The developer community are not impressed.
