We just filled a position for which applicants had to code a simple method to parse a CSV file. Essentially, all you had to do was split on the newline, then foreach and split on the comma. We tested about six people, only one of which came anywhere near the right answer.

We had one guy who attempted to write all his code within the XML comments. I am not shitting you.
