pietschsoft.com — Here's a bookmarklet for submitting a link to DotNetKicks that automatically passes in the URL, Title and Description. To specify the description to submit all you have to do is highlight text on the page.

Why change it to /kick? The "Submit a story" link on the website even links to /submit.

I'd assume /kick on a URL that isn't in the database yet will automatically go to /submit. So, using /kick is more robust when you may have people hitting the bookmark on pages already in the database without knowing it.

Yep, the kick url first checks if the link has already been submitted.

Ah, makes sense... I changed the bookmarklet in my blog post to use /kick.
