While writing the article, I figured there must have been similar blog posts out there and purposely did not look around as to avoid influencing the article! Now that mine is complete, however, I'm very happy to find this other article.

Fun. The Spectrum 48k first got me into programming; but 1000's of hours of gaming I'm sure didn't progress me as a developer.
