I could ask _all_ my friends to kick my posts, too! Unfortunately that would guarantee only one additional kick at best... :S

Sometimes I kick (or Digg for that matter) articles that aren't so great but that I will return to later.

I don't consider DNK or Digg as ranking services, but also as useful social bookmarking services. It is easier to find items of interest from recently kicked/dugg -lists.
If some article is worth returning to, I guess it is worth kicking/digging, anyway.

dengar: something like that:"Worst. Community. Ever." :P His message was basically that this site sucks, because people kick everything and we are morons because of that :D He never submitted anything, of course, which makes him just a troll who probably couldn't figure out how to code with Logo ;)

Good that we have Ralph here to tell us, what is great information and what is not, because he is so awesome. Just look at his history and admire how he has contributed to this community with all those great comments and tags. Not that he would have time to post examples of quality content...

I prefer automatic properties but sometimes I wish there was also snippet for the full property, too.

Hehe. That move may help reusing existing code, but if the result is just ActionScript, there won't be any speed benefits.

Silverlight is compiled code and it is and will be much faster for processor intensive tasks. .NET wouldn't have much point, if C#/C++/VB.NET etc were just compiled into VBScript or JavaScript :D

I agree with jesse. Few years back in one company I set us an internal blog with .Text and it worked well as kind of an intranet. With categories it was easy to classify data etc.

These days WSS/SharePoint is of course a much better option. The free WSSv3 comes with blog and wiki-support + the normal collaboration features.

I agree. The submitted title was copied straight from the source.
