This post (part 3 or 3) completes implementing a reusable data-bound templated silverlight 1.0 carousel control that is then used to display Flickr photos in a carousel user interface.
ASP.NET AJAX Control Toolkit New Release

Hello guys
This Morning -On my way online- I have found in the great Scott Guthrie's Blog that the ASP.NET AJAX team has released a new version of their control Toolkit.
The new version really rocks. they have fixed about 125 bugs and extended some of it's features.

But the biggest thing in this version is......

Hardware Instancing in XNA

Hardware Instancing is an interesting topic that has quite a few uses. The idea of instancing is to use the hardware to generate transformed vertices to reduce draw call overhead. Now I know that sounded like a bunch of senseless technical jargon, and it was. In plain English, sometimes it is faster to let the GPU do all the work for us so the CPU can go off and do other work; and this is what Hardware Instancing does. This article covers how to setup a simple program that uses instancing to render a few rotating squares.

Microsoft Surface: Your cofeeTable is here

I Remember these days when I was holding my mouse for the first time and it really shacked me as it was a new thing to deal with.

But since this time till now there hasn't been any innovative thing as an easy way to use technology devices except hitting keys and pointing with devices and this is an annoying thing to most of the people out there.

But these days have passed away since the new magical and innovative thing that Microsoft came up with.

Inheritance and Polymorphism

Learn to use good object-oriented design (OOD) principles for in your C# programs. Excerpt: Classes and their instances (objects) do not exist in a vacuum, but rather in a network of interdependencies and relationships, just as we, as social animals, live in a world of relationships and categories. One of the most important relationships among objects in the real world is specialization, which can be described as the is-a relationship. When we say that a dog is a mammal, we mean that the dog is a specialized kind of mammal. It has all the characteristics of any mammal (it bears live young, nurses with milk, has hair), but it specializes these characteristics to the familiar characteristics of canis domesticus. A cat is also a mammal. As such, we expect it to share certain characteristics with the dog that are generalized in Mammal, but to differ in those characteristics that are specialized in cats. The specialization and generalization relationships are both reciprocal and hierarchical. Specialization is just the other side of the generalization coin: Mammal generalizes what is common between dogs and cats, and dogs and cats specialize mammals to their own specific subtypes.
