Technology doesn't matter!
Technology only matters to a certain pay grade. If you want to grow in your company, eventually you'll have to become more "value-minded" and do whats more valuable to the company. However, with that said, if you arent upgrading servers, software, etc, a level of risk comes with that as well. So read up on the stuff, but you don't always have to execute.

CAPTCHA has been broken
The article was a yawn-fest, so I just decided to comment on a different way of using captcha that I have seen on some sites.

CAPTCHA has been broken
I read it. I just chose to comment on what I find interesting. Is that allowed?

CAPTCHA has been broken
since computers are made by man, they can only be as smart as the man who made them. Therefore, of course captcha can be broken. The best security feature I have seen so far is asking people simple questions. If you asked the questions inside captcha, and you continued to add/delete questions, that would be even better. Still possible to break, but takes a lot of work
example: What color is the sky? What is 5 + 5? etc. But like i said, you would have to add questions all the time and change the format of the questions. I like the _____ sky.

Scott Guthrie: Visual Studio 2008 and .NET 3.5 Released
Perhaps, Kicking, and hopefully eventual Burying would have put the best post about the topic on the front page anyway.

This bit of info has already been on the front page all morning. Just because God, err, Scott Gu wrote it doesnt mean we have to submit another clone story.
