i use the svnserve. I dont know if thats good/bad....But thats how i do it, i would prefer to not use the apache.

in my opinion terminals doesnt work for anything except taking up disk space. I cant connect to anything.

huh? seriously? April fools? You should atleast explain to the user that u messed up, and then take them out of the current proccess. Plus, its not like .net actually crashes. You can Continue or Quit.

20% increase with 1/3 the features of the .net/mono. This is only useful in special scanrios when you know absolutely the format of the file will be the same everytime.

I downloaded that terminals program on there, wow, it crashed all over the place. Too many features, not enough debugging. Weren't even captured errors.

software complexity is moving away from algorithms and moving more to design. Being able to write a whole program in binary doesn't make you smart, it makes you stupid. Use VS, make better software, and do your more critical thinking about UI design, db design, and you will end up with a much better product. Especially with CPUs today, you don't have to worry about having the absolute best performance. Unless your client is willing to pay for that additional time.

wow i love your commentary. I found the asians and the misplaced hot girl all good........but then the indian girls set the overal average to negative -20. Guess thats why you dont look for hot chicks at MS
