"Unhandled errors should never be captured. Logged, yes, but left to crash the program. "
huh? seriously? April fools? You should atleast explain to the user that u messed up, and then take them out of the current proccess. Plus, its not like .net actually crashes. You can Continue or Quit.

Fast StringReader for .NET
20% increase with 1/3 the features of the .net/mono. This is only useful in special scanrios when you know absolutely the format of the file will be the same everytime.

Fast StringReader for .NET
so since his code isnt that much faster, he made it do it tons of times so that it would eventually appear to make a difference. blah whatever.

I downloaded that terminals program on there, wow, it crashed all over the place. Too many features, not enough debugging. Weren't even captured errors.

What kind of programmer you are? An analytical thinker or a VS operato
software complexity is moving away from algorithms and moving more to design. Being able to write a whole program in binary doesn't make you smart, it makes you stupid. Use VS, make better software, and do your more critical thinking about UI design, db design, and you will end up with a much better product. Especially with CPUs today, you don't have to worry about having the absolute best performance. Unless your client is willing to pay for that additional time.
