Happy Birthday Scott Guthrie!
Yes, I agree, you should donate money to an open source project or a charity instead.

Announcing the RTM of Windows Vista SP1
But, why aren't they putting the download up on Microsoft.com until "mid-march"??? If it's really done, why wait?

C# Indexers
I blogged about this about functionality about 10 months ago. Here's a link to mine, so someone can see yet another small example of how to implement a Default Indexer Property in C#:

Happy 2nd Birthday DotNetKicks
Is there a way we can see who the top Submitters and Kickers are? That would be a cool feature to add to the Zeitgeist.

Has it been that long? Wow!! Way to go!
And to think that I've been using it almost the entire time.

Is MVC right for you?
"It always frustrates me to see people using WebForms poorly and then blaming the entire technology for their own shortcomings" - gt1329a
This is the same thing I heard when first comparing Classic ASP to ASP.NET. And, let us not forget there will be plenty of bad code written using ASP.NET MVC.

Free Google Charts API Released
This is pretty neat! I quickly created a small ASP.NET Server Control that exposes a subset of this functionality here:

Windows Services Can Install Themselves
That makes sense, thanks. It's pretty annoying when that happens. I've actually seen CodeProject acticles moved like that quite a bit.

Windows Services Can Install Themselves
You know, I submitted this almost a week ago and it even was on the front page today. Then I got the following email.....
Your post
'Create Windows Services That Can Install Themselves'
'Never use the InstallUtil.exe utility that ships with the .NET SDK again. Using the InstallUtil.exe utility that ships with the .NET SDK can be a real pain. It's rarely in the PATH so you probably have to hunt down the utility when you are working on QA and production servers as I do. Installing a Windows Service should be easier. In this short article, I'll show you a way to make your Windows Services install themselves without needing InstallUtil.exe at all.'

Please let us know if you think this was in error.
... Why would it have been deleted?
