The Rotating Earth: Theory, Fact or Fiction?
Of course he should not remove it! I find it _very_ entertaining. I am happy, that we agree on the earth actually being round.

How to use custom audit fields with SubSonic
Nice article. A great example how the "convention"-based-approach of subsonic gives basic problems :-(
I used/use subsonic in many projects, but lately i have been looking more at other directions. I just dont get that "happy"-feeling using it anymore - too many bugs gave me headaces :-(

Create your own code-signing certificate.
No more 1-year certificates, mine works for 10 years now =)

Google Chrome is here
I like some of the built-in features, and how the tabs are arranged. Too bad they had to break the windows-gui to do it, but i think its worth it. Lets see how the other players react to the new player :D

URL rewriting in ASP.NET web applications
I use
http://www.urlrewriting.net
for rewritings, works without any issues. I currently use it for replacing a old web-form site to asp.net mvc, where i need to keep the .aspx ending (temporarily).
Performance-wise its invisible.

New Image Generator control in ASP.Net 3.5
Looks really great.
I currently use ImageGen -
http://www.percipientstudios.com/imagegen/overview.aspx
which sadly is not advertised enough. Great features and very easy to use. I was just happy enough to pay the price for the pro version, but the basic version is propably all you are goint to need :-)

ASP.NET gets no Respect
I havent looked much into ROR, but i keep reading about scalability-issues? There will allways be developers outside making greater stuff than microsoft (i am pretty sure microsoft are prototyping some cool stuff all the time), but Microsoft just cant push out "random" cool stuff out, it also needs to support it.
Lets say that Microsoft currently are lacking in regards to asp.net, but hey, the great thing is that they are working at it. The way they handle the development of MVC is just great, with frequent drops, and communication with the targeted audience.

The Dark Side of LINQ
Good response, got to agree with you, except the parsing ;)
Of course some linq-queries are long, as would the sql-queries be. I like the features of link, but i am not sure, if i will ever use linq for sql.

The Dark Side of LINQ
Not sure if you are responding to my comments, but let me explain.
No where in his article does he mention, that linq was never supposed to do what he is using it for, and the introduction makes it seems like he is not aware of it.
