Where is .NET?

Today at Digg/programming, not one single topic involved .NET. There were a lot of PHP, Ruby and Java. So where is .NET? Why is .NET so under represented on the broader community sites? I don't think it is because PHP or Java has a bigger user base or is better or worse than .NET. It must be something else. Maybe it is because .NET developers just don't care about the other programming languages and platforms. That's fair enough, but I don't buy it.

ASP.NET Postbacks and Viewstate Considered Harmful

"Like all technologies worth using, it's possible to do really evil things with ASP.NET, but to my mind it actually makes it more likely that such evil things will happen even in the hands of an experienced developer."

Memory in .NET - what goes where

A lot of confusion has been wrought by people explaining the difference between value types and reference types as "value types go on the stack, reference types go on the heap". This is simply untrue (as stated) and this article attempts to clarify matters somewhat.
