Through the course of time I have learn to use these tools to become a better web developer. In this post, I will make a list of all the web browser tools or add-ons I find most useful to the professional web developer.

This is quite a very useful utility when you want to encode script, HTML tags and even charcters like " ; &" etc into valid chracters so that you could input them into a WYSIWYG with any problems. It is quite a neccessary tool if you are a blogger or an administrator of a CMS application.

ll the buzz these days goes to asp.net mvc and as many others, I'm loving it! Messing around with it, and looking at samples of others, I see the controllers tend to get quite messy. Where normally the codebehinds got messy, it's now moved to the controllers.

I'm not sure if this is .NET related enough, but it's got the potential to be very useful for any web development. You just pass the data and chart parameters on the QueryString and it returns a PNG with your chart. Pretty nifty.
