Comprehensive Comparson of 7 Popular JavaScript/Ajax Frameworks
In my opinion jQuery takes the prize. The library is so easy to use and it saves a lot of development time.
Oh, and YUI is a bloated pile of junk.

Easter Egg in the VS 2008 Installer?
This has to be fake. Oh, and they should ditch Mr. Tiny Face and replace him with Jade Raymond.

OpenID implementation in C# and ASP.NET
Pretty neat. Though, It would be nice to see how you incorporate an OpenID implementation into the ASP.NET Membership Provider. ;)

SQL Server 2008 will have IntelliSense
Excellent! It's about time.
I have been using the free (old) version of SQL Prompt and it was pretty good, though it's nice to see that MS has added this feature without you having to pay $200 for it.

10 Things You Should Know About Microsoft's Silverlight
Has anyone here really embraced Silverlight yet?
While trying not to get into the Flash vs. Silverlight discussion I personally believe Flash is still superior to Silverlight in many ways. Flash has its user base, dominance, ease of use and the new Actionscript 3.0 which is a lot better than the previous versions. Flash allows almost the same level of interactivity that html and javascript does with a server-side language backing it, like file upload, bitmap manipulation, xml read/write, web requests, dynamically loading content, etc.
What is perhaps the most important issue is whether Silverlight is easier and has short development cycles than Flash has. It's all about being easy to develop in, maintain and low cost.
What are your thoughts on this?

Karma Points System for DotNetKicks?
Maybe it isn't necessary being able to vote comments up, rather voting a comment down is may suffice.
Perhaps, if one of your comments falls below a quality threshold your karma should decrease a point or two. I just hope we won't witness a new "Bury Brigade" if comment voting is implemented here on DNK.
