What does it matter? You knew what it was didn't you?

This is direct, but doesn't have any links to the helper toolkit, so don't forget that.

If you really must have rounded corners an don't care about pretty markup, this method is fine. Personally, I don't think round corners are worth it with that much effort and extra non-semantic code. Its a trade off I personally prefer not to make. Others don't mind so much, no big deal. Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Ugh, the html markup he uses to make it happen is disgusting. You might as well just use tables if you're going to use that many divs.

Both links don't work:

I tried posting a comment about this on the article's site, but I want to know the author's solution to the segmented paging problem (the reason MS introduced NewSequentialID() in SQL2005). That's the big show stopper for me.

Another story I don't really agree with, but I'd like to see a discussion about it.

Possibly, but you may be surprised how many ".NET Developers" I've worked with that didn't know those terms. At one interview, I was asked, "What's a property?" That was the dev manager's baseline knowledge level he was seeking. He said they had a lot of applicants and former employees that didn't know the answer.
