SubSonic LoadFromPost Method
liviu, I find this stuff not particularly interesting nor innovative myself, but there's no need to manifest your disappointment here. If you like MonoRail or whatever just go with it. If it has such features since ages then good for you and everyone else using it, but if SubSonic introduces something unknown to the ASP.NET community to date this is something good in my opinion.

Are you making these 3 common ASP.NET AJAX mistakes?
Well, ASP.NET Ajax is not just UpdatePanels. Instead I think it is a cool javascript library.

ASP.NET - Server.Transfer v/s Server.Execute
DotNetKicks uses it in the Global.asax file, to handle error pages, you might want to check it out. About what happens when the user refreshes the page, nothing weird, the url in the address bar is requested again and the logic of the page begins from scratch, reissueing eventual Transfers or Executes.

ASP.NET - Server.Transfer v/s Response.Redirect
No guys, this is a terrible explanation, look for this topic on Phil Haack's blog (
http://www.haacked.com
), THAT is an explanation.

Crazy talk: Inline scripting and code-behind
Hmm, don't want to sound rude, but let's try not to be silly, there's not much to be proud of in discovering that code inlining at times is much better than the control model. It just stays to mean that we didn't do any progress at all compared to jsp and php with respect to presentation logic. Or worse, we thought we did and we're just realizing that it was not true.
