EntitySpaces 2009 - Running under Visual Studio
I want it! The best way to deal with generated code for data-mapped POCO objects is with tight integration with the development workflow so that there's no time wasted futzing around with external applications that are agnostic to your project.. This is sweeter than LINQ-to-SQL, in my opinion.

Why I'm Unimpressed With Rawness Of Skillz
.. before anyone argues, yes, it's a connection issue, it doesn't matter if you succeeded in getting an error message. The site is reverse proxied.

Why I'm Unimpressed With Rawness Of Skillz
brianjlowry, it was down due to the incompetence of the ISP to keep the connection up, not due to markup. :P

Why I'm Unimpressed With Rawness Of Skillz
FrontPage? No.
Expression Web? Yes.
The former adds HTML junk and fluff when entering the designer mode, sometimes breaking the markup especially where there was inline script, whereas the latter is pretty good about being "respectful" about the markup. Same with Visual Studio 2008's ASPX and HTML designer.

EntitySpaces 2008- LINQ to DataTable?
@rob, dude what does half of that have to do with Mike's post here? People kick their own stuff all the time, it's the new weblog ping. I thought with your LOLcode endeavors and speech style on your site you had a really strong sense of humor. Apparently, Mike thought so, too, or he probably wouldn't have goofed off in the way he did... not to speak for him or anything, but, man, I had a lot of admiration for you but you're acting paranoid and obnoxiously critical and rude.

EntitySpaces 2008- LINQ to DataTable?
@rev4bart, that was pretty unhelpful comment. If you can't elaborate on specific areas that confuse you, don't comment.
@Mike, the pliability of ES to different forms of coding is remarkable.

The Gospel of the GUID - And Why It Matters!
GUIDs as primary key default with clustered indexing just like with integers. Since GUIDs are randomly generated, though, (to say nothing of the fact that GUIDs are never guaranteed to be uniqueue) this results in inevitable fragmentation hell. With a lot of records, you end up with a VERY slow table.
I posted this on the blog page's comments but it went into a black hole or was deleted.
