Gravatar Supports PNG Transparencies Again!
1) Agh! Needs some ironing, apparently
2) They have changed their URLs. I link to a fix for BlogEngine.NET on my blog post
3) crpietschmann is right. I feel very bad for doing this. My only excuse is that Gravatars are used by many open source ASPNET apps.

No, OOP hasn't Fail Us
Nah, senfo, that way we get to laugh at your mistakes!
Does ANY university teach OOP well? It seems like I spent two years buried under lisp and 5th normal forms before I ever saw an OO language. Its pretty sad that I had never heard of the GoF until after graduating.

Gravatar Supports PNG Transparencies Again!
I'm not sure why my gravatar is still non-alpha'd here. It might take some time for the caches to update.

Try-catching in a single line of code
Dunno. Its pretty clear what he's doing. I mean, the method name is "Catch" and he's got a NRE in the lambda.... The only sore point is figuring out what he's using the lambda for.

The alternate IDE and an apology to MS
Slow load times??? I'm running a standard, boring core 2 duo with 3 gigs of memory and a 7200rpm single hard drive, and I can load an average project in vs2k8 within ten seconds. My current project's solution (and I'm just talking about the core solution; its currently one of three in an overall system) contains FORTY EIGHT individual projects, each one has a minimum of five files. It loads in 11 seconds.
tl;dr: You're doing it wrong.
