msdn.microsoft.com — Windows Forms 2.0 is far richer than any Windows application development platform that preceded it. You'll find improvements across the board, with a more dense and fully featured Microsoft® .NET Framework, tighter Visual Studio® integration with many new additional designers, a unified data binding model, and, the icing on the cake, ClickOnce for Web-style deployment.
Significant work has gone into the System.Windows.Forms namespace, the heart of the technology that comprises Windows® Forms. The usable surface area of the namespace, comprising public types (classes and enumerations), has increased by approximately 134 percent over the .NET Framework 1.1. There are 446 new public types; 113 existing types have been updated with new members and values; 218 types have been carried over from the original namespace; and no types have been removed.
