WinForms: Send Email Using Outlook Interop or Process Class (keithelder.net)

Although you can generate emails in Winform applications using the System.Diagnostics.Process class there are times when you need more control over the email being sent, or as outlined in this article, after the message is sent for logging purposes. This article gives examples of both methods and things to consider when using one over the other.
