The Kicks Network is our passion. A connecting intersection among devs and designers which is revolutionizing the design and usability of web applications to the next level. We’re about highlighting the good thoughts and works of others while creating a community of likeminded users through content and discussion that enlightens and connects. Join us and jump in. Originally started around dotnetkicks.com, this is our 4th generation of the platform. DNK was an open source project and this platform continues our contribution to the open source community at large through our many donations of certain aspects of our current platforms.
Rob loves pouring hours of his spare time into the Kicks Platform which underpins all the sites and services in the Network. Rob’s been hooked on programming since he got a ZX Spectum at 9 years of age. And yes that's right; he thinks this stuff is fun! A great motivator for Rob is to be a part of and build online communities, and the bigger and more social they get, the more he enjoys it!
Rob also loves to spend time with his family and especially loves the outdoors and sporting activities such as skiing, cycling, rooting for Liverpool and dealing out or taking punishment on the squash court.
When he’s not working on growing the business, Bob works with other high growth Internet startups as an investor and an advisor. An active investor and Venture Capitalist for over 15 years, Bob is driven to help build dynamic, scalable bootstrap startups captained by outstanding entrepreneurs. Bob spends his free time with family, running, and defending his title as the Kicks Network Table Tennis champion.
Miro enjoys programming and building new things since he started on his Commodore 64, some 20 years ago. At the moment, he spends most of his day deep in JavaScript and C#. Besides programming, Miro also loves reading books, comics and collecting / playing board games. So yes, he's kind of a geek.
